What are the different for NiCD ,NiMH and lithium ion battery?

The working voltage of nickel hydrogen batteries is 1.2V, and there is no problem of heavy metal pollution in lead-acid or cadmium nickel batteries. It is also a green and environmentally friendly battery. However, compared with lithium-ion batteries, the working voltage of nickel hydrogen batteries is only one-third of that of lithium-ion batteries. Similarly, a nickel hydrogen battery requires three times as many individual batteries as lithium-ion batteries, weights about twice as much as lithium-ion batteries, and has a shorter cycle life. In addition, nickel hydrogen batteries generate severe heat during charging and cannot be used for a long time under high temperature regulation. Low temperature performance is not as good as lithium-ion batteries, high rate discharge performance is not as good as cadmium nickel batteries and lithium-ion batteries, and the price is almost the same as lithium-ion batteries. So although nickel hydrogen batteries have developed for a long time, their development speed and potential have far lagged behind lithium-ion batteries.
